Dr. Erin Scott is a proud wife, mama, and family chiropractor who loves finding joy in the little things! She understands how challenging the motherhood journey can be…because she is in it too! Dr. Erin aims to support the families she serves with compassion, love, and with the goal to empower families to lead their healthiest and happiest lives possible!
Dr. Erin has been a chiropractor since 2011, graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic-FL, which is when her love of the Port Orange area started! Dr. Erin and her husband returned home to Wisconsin following graduation, where she joined a small town practice and learned from a fabulous husband and wife team for 2 years. Dr. Erin then went on to own Fall Creek Chiropractic for 8 years, where she grew it into a busy, sought after family chiropractic practice. She took a leap of faith and sold her practice to return to Port Orange to mentor chiropractic students and to start a different style of chiropractic practice that would allow her to do what she has always encouraged the families she cared for to do: focus on family, do what you love, find joy in everyday life, promote healthy work life balance, and prioritize self care. And thus, Healthy Start Family Chiropractic was born, where we believe that anyone can have their healthy start at any time in their life!
Dr. Erin earned an additional 3 year diplomate in 2015 through the ICA Council on Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Prenatal and Pediatric Chiropractic Care. She is trained in the Webster Technique, a protocol for pregnant mothers that releases uterine constraint, allowing baby to move into the proper position for birth. Dr. Erin also has additional training in Craniosacral Therapy/CST/Cranial Work to help improve plagiocephaly (improper head shape) as well as many other conditions that benefit from this type of gentle, specific care. Additionally, she has completed specialized training to help families deal with the ups and downs of TOTs (tethered oral tissues / lip & tongue ties) and is currently pursuing her lactation counselor certification through ChildBirth International to help parents navigate the challenges of breastfeeding.
Dr. Erin and her husband, Andy, were married in July 2011 and they live in Port Orange with their children, Rheya & Chase as well as their dog, Murray. The Scott family enjoys spending time with friends & family, being outdoors, staying active, traveling, cooking, and cheering on WI sports teams!
Meet Dr. Erin
Meet Dr. Steph

Dr. Stephanie Parker is the wife of her college sweetheart and a mama of four kiddos — three “big kids” and a sweet baby who joined the family while she was in chiropractic school. After experiencing three medicated hospital births and later an unmedicated home birth, she feels incredibly grateful to understand the beauty of birth in many forms. These experiences deepened her passion for supporting mamas through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, no matter what that journey looks like.
Dr. Steph attended Virginia Tech (go Hokies!), where she met her husband, Russ, before earning her nursing degree from George Washington University. She began her career as a NICU nurse, caring for the tiniest and most vulnerable babies. While she loved serving families in the hospital setting, the COVID pandemic led her to pursue a more holistic, proactive path to health, ultimately guiding her to chiropractic.
The Parker family moved to Ormond Beach in July of 2022 so that Dr. Steph could attend Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating as co-valedictorian of her class. During that season, she welcomed her fourth baby and experienced firsthand the powerful role chiropractic care can play in pregnancy and postpartum recovery, strengthening her belief in the body’s innate wisdom and ability to heal when supported well.
With her NICU background, Dr. Steph has a special place in her heart for babies and is especially passionate about caring for infants and new mothers. She is Webster Certified and is actively pursuing advanced perinatal and pediatric certifications through the ICPA. She is trained in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) through the Gillespie Approach and has additional training in TOTS (tethered oral tissues), allowing her to provide gentle, specific care for families navigating feeding challenges and early tension patterns. While babies hold a special place in her heart, she loves serving the entire family and believes healthy families thrive together.
Dr. Steph is excited to offer concierge chiropractic care, providing home visits so mamas and their babies can receive intentional, unhurried support in the comfort of their own homes. When she’s not caring for families, she enjoys coffee, running, riding horses, and curling up with a good book — and most of all, time with Russ and their four children in sunny Florida.

Types of Care

Prenatal Chiropractic Care
In preparation for pregnancy and during pregnancy, Prenatal chiropractic care focuses on the proper alignment of the spine and pelvis which is essential for the optimal position of the baby and comfort of mom, promoting a healthier pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Erin also couples the adjustment with the Webster Technique, which is used to prevent and release inter-uterine constraint by applying gentle and specific soft tissue release to the uterine ligaments allowing baby to get into the best possible position for birth.

Postnatal Chiropractic Care
The 4th trimester is a magical time period in a woman’s life where she is celebrating the birth of her baby and navigating the drastic changes her body has endured over the last 10 months. This is a critical time for mom to recover from the birth and focus on the care of her newborn. Postnatal chiropractic care helps to support the healing process mentally, emotionally, and physically to ensure mom is at her best for herself and her baby.

What patients are saying:
As I write this, simultaneously feeding my almost one year old, I reflect back on the providers whom helped me get to this point. Dr. Erin is in the forefront of my mind. As a second time mother, I incorrectly assumed my breastfeeding journey would be similar or even stronger than my first. I assumed it would be natural. I was rudely awakened to the challenges of breastfeeding a newborn with severe tongue tie. My daughter was colicky, struggled sleeping, and passively nursed. It was evident she was in pain. We would walk hours in circles trying to get her to eat. We were told she was failure to thrive. My husband and I were mentally and physically exhausted. Dr. Erin and I's paths crossed in desperation. Multiple providers had shrugged off our ongoing challenges. Her expertise in craniosacral therapy, tongue tie, compassion for her work, play-based manipulation, and flexibility are what made us feel comfortable placing our kids in her hands. Dr. Erin celebrated our highs and sat with us during our lows. She comforted me in times of exhaustion. Dr. Erin was never afraid to say "this is a first for me," quickly followed by an eagerness to continue educating herself more on recent evidence-based practices. For US! Dr. Erin was the pivotal provider we needed to make progress towards vital developmental milestones and meet our family goals. Lastly, and most importantly, our entire family, including my very opinionated 3 year old, adored her. I'm forever indebted to Dr. Erin.

Dr. Erin is so much more than just a fabulous chiropractor. I can’t say enough positive things. We have been patients for 9 years and I can honestly say, she is irreplaceable. She took care of me through 3 of my 5 pregnancies and helped alleviate so many aches and pains that came with it. She has cared for all 5 of my kids from the time they were tiny. She helped us through nursing difficulties, colic troubles, ear aches, falls, etc. She has built such a great bond with each of them, they ask for appointments with her. She has an amazing talent for making people feel comfortable. She truly listens and cares deeply about each of her patients. Best chiropractic decision we ever made!
